Sylvia A. Sundermeier, 74, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on December 20, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on May 1, 1943 to George Jr. and Geneva (Ingalls) Keeble. She worked as an information operator for Ameritech for 22 years before retiring in 1994. Sylvia was an avid traveler and thrill seeker, even trying her hand at zip-lining two years ago. She also loved music, especially Opera singing. Sylvia enjoyed camping and volunteering as a camp hostess for Maumee Bay State Parks. She was also a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Her greatest love was being with her family.
Sylvia is survived by her children, Jimmy (Vickey) Moore, Jr., Charlotte (Stephen) Preston, Sharon (John) Owad, Julie (Bobby Schneider) Moore; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother George (Joy) Keeble III, one nephew; father, George Keeble, Jr. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva; husband, Robert.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
