Tanya J. Berg, 84, of Toledo OH, passed away unexpectedly on December 4th, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in the presence of her loving family. Tanya was born on March 22nd, 1938. She was the most loyal, loving, selfless, and understanding person that many had the pleasure of knowing. Most of all, her dedication and commitment to her family was immeasurable. Tanya grasped every opportunity she could spend with her family. Fortunately, she had the opportunity to meet her great-grandson Luca Berg, before her passing. Something of which she prayed for often. She also cherished attending her grandson and granddaughter's sporting events. Though Ohio is where most of her family lives, Florida was the place that she called home. Being by the water is where she believed to be a place of peace. She enjoyed cooking, watching football, hanging out with her buddy Mickey, and conversing with friends and family. With no doubt, Tanya was and still remains a beautiful soul.

She is survived by her daughter, DaNaye Hayes, son, Eric Berg SR, grandson, Eric (Jill Bain) Berg JR, granddaughter, Erika (Walker Bliss) Berg, sister, Sheryn Hogan of Florida, and great-grandchild, Luca Berg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Abbot SR, and Edna May, her sister, Ralleene Laskey, her brother, Robert Abbot JR, son-in-law, Ed Hayes, and infant great-grandchild, Niko.
