Ted was an owner of Nordmann Roofing where he worked 41 years, retiring in 1986 as President. Always generous, Ted volunteered for many years at St. Vincent Medical Center and St. Paul's Community Center. The volunteer work was in addition to countless instances where Ted lent a hand to family, friends and strangers alike. A devout member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish for over 40 years, Ted served as President of the St. Thomas Aquinas School Board. Known for his financial skills, he also contributed his expertise as a board member of the East Side Mental Health Center as well as treasurer of the Knights of Columbus. In his leisure time Ted traveled extensively with his family, with Florida as a favorite destination. Gardening was also a pastime and Ted took pride in maintaining a wonderful landscape at his home. Family and friends always enjoyed Ted's sharp wit and sense of humor which he maintained even to his last days. Ted will be tremendously missed, but we celebrate the years we shared with him.
