IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teodoro
Ruiz
January 28, 1970 – December 4, 2024
Teodoro Ruiz, 54, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Promedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Teodoro was born January 28, 1970, in Mercedes, California, to Jose and Amelia (Rodriguez) Ruiz. Teodoro worked in steel manufacturing for many years. A man who truly was one of a kind, left this world leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love that touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He lived his life as a stranger to no one and a friend to all. He would give you the shirt off his back and expect nothing in return. He had a passion for sports and was a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Denver Broncos, and the Duke Blue Devils, always cheering with unmatched enthusiasm, yelling "Broncos" whenever he could. He loved to gather with family and friends where he could provide his legendary brisket. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, who adored him beyond measure. Whether building forts, telling stories, or sharing laughs, he created countless unforgettable moments with them. His best pal Knuckles, ever by his side, brought even more joy to his days.
Teodoro is survived by his father, Jose; children, Vinny, Alicia (Rick), Teodoro (Emily) Ruiz Jr., Louis (Hannah) Ruiz, and Antonio (Merandia) Ruiz; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Elena (Garland) Scarberry, Jose (Diana) Ruiz Jr., Rigoberto (Trisha) Ruiz, and Imelda (Felix) Blanco; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and dear friends. Preceded in death by his mother.
