Terrance J. Lutz, 70, of Walbridge, passed away Saturday, December 4th 2010.
He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 31, 1940 to Robert T. and Caroline (Brosnan) Lutz. On December 8, 1965, he married Marilyn A. Strock and would have celebrated 45 years of marriage this year. Terrance worked as a conductor for CSX railroad for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and member of Northwood VFW Post 2984. In later years, Terrance volunteered at Bay Park and St. Charles Hospital. He was an avid reader and enjoyed Notre Dame and Minnesota Vikings Football. His true passion was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Terrance is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn, daughters, Marsha (Richard) Doolin, Debbie (George) Auger, Karen Rooks; son, Scott (Elizabeth) Lutz; 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cathy and JeanMarie; brothers, John, Tom, and Fran. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Lee, sister, Mary Jo, brother, Tim, and nephew Tim Jr.
Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Wednesday, December 8th from 2:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday in the funeral home with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Lutz family.
