Terrence "Terry" Campbell Jr., age 70, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on July 19, 1956, in Toledo to Terrence and Barbara (Faust) Campbell, Sr.

Terry was a simple man who didn't need much to be happy. What he valued most was having people around him. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was always ready to share a conversation, a laugh, or simply enjoy someone's company. If you knew Terry, you could often find him sitting in his favorite chair, waiting for someone to stop by and talk. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and there was always room for one more conversation.

Music was another special part of Terry's life. He enjoyed music of all kinds, but had a particular love for the sounds of the 1950s and 1960s, especially Elvis. Whether listening to a favorite song or simply enjoying the company of those around him, Terry found happiness in the simple moments.

Terry's greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind those who will forever cherish the memories they made with him: his son, Terry Campbell III; granddaughter, Victoria (Shane); great-granddaughters, Evelynn and Emery; siblings, Madonna, Lyle Sr., Theresa, and Jackie; and special friends, Alyssa and Garrett Purdham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Terrence and Barbara; his daughter, Merri-Jo; his brother, Bob; and his infant sister, Katrina.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd.

Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. We will miss seeing him in his chair, hearing his voice, sharing stories, and knowing that he was always there for a conversation. His life reminds us that sometimes the simplest things, a familiar song, a comfortable chair, and the company of people we love, are the things that matter most.

Though he is no longer here to share one more conversation, the memories, stories, music, and love he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
