Terrence S. Hager, 78, of Oregon, Ohio, died peacefully, surrounded by family, Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Gardens of St. Francis. Terry was born November 12, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, to Howard and Evelyn (Scanlon) Hager. In 1963, Terry graduated from Waite High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served two tours during the Vietnam War and served as a drill instructor for Young Marines. He worked in sales and was a member of the Lou Diamond Marine Corps League. Terry was an accomplished landscape painter and practiced Aikido Martial Arts. He was an avid boater, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and loved his dogs.

Terry is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Gwyn Hager (Jim Johnson), Kelly (Joseph) Owens, and Evelyn (David) Grove; grandchildren, Dustin (Beckie) Hager, Ashley (Ryan) Gonzales, Corinne Dabran (Adam Ditzel), Donna Grove, Jacob Owens, and Matthew Owens; great-grandchildren, Madison, Adrian, Mason, and Ophelia; along with former wife and dear friend, Corinne (Bob) Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S Coy Road Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 2:00 pm until memorial service and military honors at 7:00 pm. Private interment: Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project
