Obituary

Terry Kirch, 82, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Born on August 28, 1944, in Columbus, Mississippi, Terry grew up with strong values that shaped a life filled with purpose and achievement.

Terry began his professional journey as a respiratory therapist, eventually leading his department with skill and compassion. His work placed him alongside surgeons in countless open‑heart procedures-experiences that reflected both his expertise and his steady, dependable nature. He later transitioned into medical sales, rising to CEO of two companies through determination and leadership.

On December 12, 1975, Terry married Joan (Guthrie), and together they built a beautiful life over 50 years. Terry was a proud Michigan Wolverine fan, a season ticket holder, and a fixture at tailgates. He found joy in skiing, golfing, boating, and traveling-especially to Florida, where he could spend long days on the golf course.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Joan; his children, Jodi (Dave) Little, Jill (Robert) Walsh, Robert Kirch, and Timothy (Brittany) Kirch; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Logan, and Lance Little, Zackary, Kelsey, and Emily Walsh, and Oliver and Silas Kirch. He is also survived by his brothers, Ken (Carolynn) Kirch, Peter Kirch, and Christopher (Jean) Kirch, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio, on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
