Terry N. Zimmerman, 58, of Oregon, Ohio passed away August 5, 2008 in his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 15, 1949 to Norman and Olga (Kerschner) Zimmerman.  He was employed by the Toledo Board of Education. Terry was a graduate of Clay High School. While at Clay, Terry excelled in various athletic programs. He was a pitcher for the baseball team, an avid golfer and tennis player. Terry was a very sociable person and loved music and animals.   Surviving are his mother, Olga; brother, Randy R. Zimmerman; aunts and uncles, Eleanore Taylor, Raymond (Naomi) Zimmerman, Helen Kerschner, Kenneth Zimmerman and Marguerite Braun; cousins, Paul and Betsy Kerschner and Christine and George Veronie. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Norman.   The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, August 16, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.  Contributions in Terrys memory can be made to the charity of the donors choice.
