Thelma M. Dobrosky, 91, formerly of Curtice, OH passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born in Jerusalem Township on October 25, 1914 to Samuel and Catherine (Shovar) Carter. Thelma was a life long homemaker. She was also a 4-H and Cub Scout leader. Thelma, along with her husband, Frank bought and sold antique furniture. She loved to garden and was an excellent cook. Thelma was the oldest living member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church Blackberry, Martin, Ohio. She and her husband attended many Polka Festivals in which Frank played the accordion. Thelma spent the last 5 ½ years at the Wright Harvey House where she made many friends. Surviving Thelma are her daughter, Janet (Alwin) Diefenthaler, of Florida; sons, Frank Jr. (Bonnie), of Curtice, OH and Thomas (Betty) of Millbury, OH; grandchildren, Cheryl (Kevin) Rakowski, Todd (Wendy) Diefenthaler, Crystal (Steve) O'Loughlin, Michelle (Dave) Sotak, Melinda (Jeff) Jacob, Wendy (Todd) Walters and Michelle Dobrosky and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dobrosky; parents, brother, Earl Carter, grandsons, Michael and Thomas Dobrosky Jr. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, OH on Friday, February 24, 2006 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Monty Kaufamn officiating. Interment will take place in Elliston Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Thelma's memory may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Martin, OH or the Wright Harvey House.
