Theodore "Ted" Stewart, 54, of Toledo passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, in his home. Mr. Stewart was born in Toledo on October 24, 1954, to Theodore L. and Evelyn (Hohenbrink) Stewart. He was a 1972 graduate of Waite High School. Before his disability Ted was employed as a postal worker prior to working as a roofer. He was a kind and generous person who enjoyed helping friends, family and neighbors. He enjoyed fishing, bingo and playing cards. Surviving are his mother, Evelyn Stewart; brothers, James, Ron (Sarah) and Jeff (Kelly) Stewart; sister, Diane Polk and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Lake Township Cemetery, 3550 Walbridge Road. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
