Theresa E. Kautz, 83, of Toledo, OH passed away September 24, 2006, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She born November 20, 1922, in Toledo, Ohio to John and Mary Gorombly. Theresa was a graduate of Waite High School. She had worked at the Willys Overland during the war. She was a buyer for LaSalle's department store and Morely Circus Town. Later years she enjoyed working at Goldman's Dry Cleaners always there for everyone with a smile. Theresa was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Women's group. Theresa was a sports person, who enjoyed bowling, being the treasurer of Westland Women's Bowling League and Senior League. She was also a member of the Valleywood Golf Course. Theresa, who especially loved football and hockey while her grandsons played for many years, traveled to out of town hockey games with her grandson, Mike, as he played for the Toledo Junior Golddiggers. She enjoyed going to her grandson, Mark's, football games from grade school, high school and especially proud of him at the University of Findlay. She traveled to many out of town games. Her grandsons and their friends all called her "Grammie". Surviving are her husband, Richard; daughter, Diane Sue Lones; grandsons, Michael (Holli) Lones and Mark Lones, and the shining star of her life, great grandson, Micheal Dennis Lones. In addition she is survived by her sisters, Maxine Nyeste and Mary Hyden and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Gorombly; sisters, Ethel Hill, Geraldine Trautman, Betty Walsh and Helen Willis. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in St. Mark's Lutheran Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment following in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Theresa's memory are asked to consider St. Mark Lutheran Church Capital Campaign or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
