Theodore R. Brenskelle, 75 of Oregon, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Ted was born in Toledo on January 3, 1936 to John and Emily (Martin) Brenskelle. He had worked as an independent insurance agent and had also worked for CSX Railroad and the Gulf Refinery prior to retiring. He was a member of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church. Ted was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a 4th Degree Knight. He was also a member of the Democratic Club known as the Young Dems, the Park Board Riverfront Revitalization. Surviving are his wife, Margaret 'œMarge'; daughter, Debbie Brenskelle; brother, Lee (Pattie) Brenskelle. Ted was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph Brenskelle. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and where his funeral service will take place on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
