Thomas R. Brillhart, 82, of Oregon, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ April 1, 2023 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born May 7, 1940, in Detroit Michigan to his parents, Marion and Eunice Brillhart. Tom was an avid team bowler and had an extensive collection of bowling balls. He always loved the challenge of bowling. He was a dedicated fan of NASCAR; having attended many races and meeting numerous drivers. Tom enjoyed traveling and was blessed to have been able to travel to many countries of the world. After extensive international travel, Tom purchased a motorhome and traveled with his wife Barbara throughout the United States. Tom Loved the Lord and his faith always sustained him. He was so grateful and truly blessed to have such a wonderful and full life.

Tom is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 64 years, Barbara; and were blessed with three wonderful children; Wendy (Mark) Davis, Dawn (Jerry) Tovar and Tom; grandchildren, Brooke (Nick) Champion, Mark Davis, Nathan Davis, Bob Brillhart, Tom (Kelly) Brillhart, Sam Tovar; 9 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Tom; grandson, Trey Tovar; sister, Phyllis Harwick; and sister-in-law Pam (Mike) Sullivan.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral services Friday, April 7, 2023 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, Ohio. Tom's family wishes to express their special thanks to his team of wonderful doctors; especially Doctor Shelke and Dr. Fernandes for their exceptional and compassionate care, as well as the many nurses and staff at Mercy St. Charles Hospital.
