Thomas S. Busdeker, 54, of Walbridge, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on November 30, 1950, to Donald and Margaret (Swedren) Busdeker in Toledo, OH. Tom was a graduate of Lake High School and had been employed as a sales representative for Family Health Plan. He was a baseball umpire for 15 years in Ohio and Michigan,
played as well as coached in men's 48 & over fast pitch league, coached baseball and hockey teams, and enjoyed golfing. Tom was a member of Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Denise K.; son, Donald (Brandy) Busdeker; daughter, Danee McDowell; father, Donald; grandchildren, Sierra McDowell, Kylie, D.J., and Brendan Busdeker; brother, David (Rita) Busdeker; brother-in-law, Duane (Carol) Hanely; sisters-in-law, Sharon Hanely and Darlene (Kenny) Eye, and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; parents-in-law, Grace and Elmer Hanely, and brother-in-law, Darrell.

Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, OH, on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. The family would like to thank the neuro intensive care unit at Toledo Hospital for their loving care and Heartland of Perrysburg and all the nurses and staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
