Thomas M. Dobrosky, Sr, a die hard Ford Man, of Millbury, Ohio lost his battle with cancer on May 1. He was born July 21, 1945 to Frank and Thelma (Carter) Dobrosky, Sr. He married the love of his life and best friend Betty Jean Steele on July 7, 1965. Tom was a retired self employed fabricator. In his earlier years he participated in tractor pulling as well as drag racing with his son. Tom enjoyed spending much of his free time in his "shop" where many stories were told and created. In his later years he spent time woodworking, landscaping, camping, traveling and going to car shows with his wife in their 1931 Ford Coupes. Tom had a very soft heart for animals of all kinds that shared their home with them through the years.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty; brother, Frank (Bonnie) Dobrosky, Jr; sister, Janet (Tub) Diefenthaler; daughter, Wendy (Todd) Walters; daughter-in-law, Michelle Dobrosky; grandchildren, Brandi (Justin) Smith, Michael Dobrosky, Kylie Walters, Todd Walters, Jr. and two great granddaughters. He was preceeded in death by his parents; and sons Michael and Thomas Dobrosky, Jr.
Family and friends may visit at Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 2:00-9:00 pm. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 10:30 am. The family encourages anyone with street rods or classic cars to join the procession. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
