Thomas E. Ferree Sr. 61 of Oregon Ohio, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 23, 1946 to Jack and Betty (Warner) Ferree. Tom worked for Conrail for 30 years retiring as a conductor in 1998. Tom was an avid reader, enjoyed playing his guitar, antiquing, garage sales, but most of all he loved going up north to his cabin with family and friends to fish.
Surviving are his parents, Jack and Betty Ferree; children, Shelly (Ronald) Ammerman, Thomas (Debra) Ferree, brother, Michael (Gloria) Ferree; sister, Norene (Eddie) Mikels; grandchildren, Matthew, Kristen Noethen, Todd, Mallory Ammerman, Chandra (Brian) Forrest, Andrew Webb; the love of his life and friend, Sandra. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday from 2-9 pm and where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Toms family would like to express their thanks and gratitude for the love and care provided by the staff and nurses at St. Charles Mercy ICU and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
