Thomas Alan Jessee, 58, of East Toledo, passed away May 24, 2004, at his residence. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 16, 1946, to Hubert and Mary (Jakubec) Jessee. Tom was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Jessee was employed for the former Penn Central Railroad before his retirement in 1971. He was a member of Arthur Daly Post #334 of the American Legion. Surviving are his mother, Mary Jakubec Boulis; daughter, Jennifer Johnson; grandson, Vince Pecina; brother, Terry (Jeanie) Jessee; special nieces, Michelle (Ed) Pigulski, Kelly (Lee) Durham, Lisa (Josh) Morse and special aunt, Eva. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH, on Thursday, May 27, 2004, from 5-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 p.m. American Legion services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
