Thomas L. Taylor, 65, formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008.  Thomas was born in Tiffin OH on January 27, 1943 to Robert and Helen (Baker) Taylor. He was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ where he was baptized by Paul L. Watson.   Mr. Taylor worked for 25 years at LOF before his retirement in 1991 and was given the title of chief cook and bottle washer.   Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Mary (Sabbagh); his six children,  Matthew (Amy) Cook, Elizabeth (George) Shively,  Anthony Cook, Michelle (Don) Tuite, Roberta (James) Bodnar and Mary Frances Taylor; brother, Robert C. Taylor; grandchildren, Maggie,  Thomas, Jonathon, Skylar, Taylor Lee Grace, Cori, Kristen, Kim, Tiffiny, Shawn and Rob.  He was preceded in death by his grandsons, Matthew Dale Cook II and Eric Shively. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Saturday, February 9, 2008 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.  The family would like to give a thank you to his special nurses, Cheryl and Lisa from HNWO and the entire staff at Otterbein Portage Valley as they helped our dad in his long and strenuous journey to the Promised Land.
