Timothy H. McStay, 67, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 20, 1953 to Joyce (VanBarg) and Robert Henry. Tim graduated from Woodward High School and later married the love of his life and best friend Cheryl (McClain) on September 28, 1974. He worked at Pilkington for 30 years, retiring in 2014. He loved working in his yard and taking care of his vegetable garden. Tim was an avid Cleveland Indians and Green Bay Packers fan and also "part owner" of the team, owning 1 share. He was known as a jokester, making sure he had a nickname for everyone. What Tim cherished most though was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cheryl; son, Tim McStay; daughter, Amy (Mike) Brumley; grandchildren, Gavin McStay, Brayden and Hunter Brumley; father, Robert (Judy) Henry; sister, Brenda (Dave) Craig; and brother, Larry (Traci) Henry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce; and nephew, Chad Craig. Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm until the time of memorial service at 5:00 pm.
