Tony L. Whited, 56, of Clay Center, Ohio passed away May, 11, 2019. Tony was born in Temperance, Michigan on December 1, 1962 to Willie and Betty (Cooper) Whited. Tony was a Service Technician for Best-Aire in Millbury and a member of Athens Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed all types of racing, especially drag racing, NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt. Tony was a member of the New Sportsman Gun Club and the NRA. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Staci Whited; children, Amber (Brian) Ruemmele, William (Mychelle) Whited, Doug Whited, Kaitlyn (Colin) McGinn, Ashlee (Austin) Whited and Kailee Whited; grandchildren, Tony, Kennady, Lilly, Avery, a grandson and another one on the way; siblings, Linda (Dean) Sullivan and Trisha (Rick) Show; best friend, Sam the cat; and many other nieces, nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Elizabeth Frost.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280), Millbury, Ohio on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 8:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Athens Missionary Baptist Church, 101 Breckman Street, Walbridge, Ohio. Pastor David McGregor will be officiating the funeral service. Interment will follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Tony's family would like to thank the healthcare teams at St. Charles Hospital, Ohio Living Home Heath and Hospice and nurses, Lisa and Rose.
