Trina Jo Rode, 66, of Oregon, passed away January 24, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Trina was born November 20th, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dr. Robert and Lois (Menne) Knisely. She was a 1963 graduate of Morrison R. Waite High School and would often look back fondly on her cheerleading days. Trina has resided the last 13 years at Heartland of Oregon Nursing Home. With a deep sense of loss, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is no longer confined by her illness, and she has been reunited with those who have gone before her. Trina is survived by her children; Scott (Mary Lou) Rode and Julia (Tony) Gallaher; grandchildren, Scott, Sarah, Jordan, Joshua, and Jeremy Rode; Brooke, Tori, and Vinny Gallaher; brothers, Randy and Timothy Knisely. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Wayne Rode. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Oregon on Friday, January 27th from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
