Twila R. Rauhut, 89, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on September 20, 2017 at Kingston Care in Sylvania. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 29, 1928 to Elmer and Hilda (Markwood) Weise. Twila graduated from Waite High School, where she was a majorette for the marching band. She worked as an office manager at the Family Medical Center and Sears for over 20 years. Twila was very active in her childrens' school PTA meetings and was a member of the St. Charles Auxiliary and St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Twila had a very positive attitude and was well-loved by everyone. Her family was the light of her life. Twila is survived by daughters, Karen (Mark) Iott and Carol Rauhut; grandchildren, Angie (Aaron) Flynn and Michael (Heather) Iott; great grandchildren, Quinn Iott and Payton Flynn; and brother-in-law, Kenneth (Sue) Rauhut. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Rauhut; and sister-in-law, Esther Zellner. Friends and family may visit Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, OH, 43616 on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 25 at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
