Valeria M. Hersch, 80, of Oregon, OH passed away on February 17, 2011 at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1930 to Ben and May (Meyer) Ludwig. Valeria worked in sales with Sears Department Store for 19 years. She was a talented musician and taught many students to play accordion at Trick Brothers Accordion Institute in Toledo during the 1940'™s. She enjoyed painting and gardening and spending time with her kitties. Valeria also was an animal lover and provider for all of God'™s little creatures. Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Jackie) Powers; son, Gerald (Jolene) Kopena; grandchildren, Jeremy and Joshua Kopena; She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenmore and sister, Dolores Weeman. Family and Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday February 21, 2011 from 2-8 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment will take place in Union Rosse Cemetery, Oak Harbor, Ohio.
