Velda Staler Thomasson, 67, of Millbury, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2006 in the Hospice of Northwest Ohio inpatient unit in Perrysburg.  Velda was born in Toledo on March 10, 1939 to Ernest and Rapheal (Smith) Staler.  Surviving are her son, Jeffrey (Mary) Thomasson; daughter, Cynthia (Donald) Paul; brothers, Clifford, Alfred (Mary) and Edgar Staler; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Samantha, Stephine and Stephen; great grandchildren, Ashley and Stephen Jr.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Thelma Toms; brother, David Staler; sister-in-law, Edna Staler and her best friend, Earl Allison. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, where visitation will be Monday from 2 to 9 pm.  Interment will be private.
