VELMA A. CONNOR   Velma A. Connor, 95 formerly of Northwood, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Genoa Care Center where she had been a resident for the past 7 years. Velma was born in Clay Center, Ohio on December 13, 1911 to Fred and Elizabeth (York) Schimming. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John V. Connor, sons, Lionel, Waldo and Douglas Connor.   Surviving is her daughter, Deanna K. Broadway; sister, Verna Hennen; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.   Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel,, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m on Friday.   Interment will follow in Williston Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Velma's name are asked to consider Genoa Christian Church. Velma's family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the nurses, aides and staff at Genoa Care Center for the love and care they provided to Velma during her stay.
