Verna M. Delecluyse, 76, of Oregon, OH passed away Friday, March 17, 2006 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on November 19, 1929 in Toledo, OH to William and Mary (Hitchcock) Steinfurth. Verna graduated from Clay High School in 1948 and married Albert H. Delecluyse in 1950. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma who was very loving and caring always helping others. Verna enjoyed yard work and shopping. Verna is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Albert; daughter, Joan (Tom) Gwin; sister, Doris Olsen; sister-in-law, Sanya Steinfurth grandchildren, Eric and Lisa Gibbs; great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Brayden and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert and son-in-law, Brian Gibbs. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 11 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
