Verna M. Forgach, 97, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, surrounded by loved ones. Verna was born in Woodville, Ohio on August 28, 1919 to John and Anna (Reinbolt) Cashen. On June 17, 1939, she married Edward Forgach. She was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish- St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Verna was an avid knitter and found great joy in providing hand made slippers to her family and those in need in the neighborhood. Her hobbies included: bus trips with friends and shopping for new clothes. Verna is survived by her children, Pat (Fred) Marchlewski, Linda (Larry) Devers, and Maggie Beadle; 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great grandchildren and son-in-law, Joe Hunyor. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters, Mary Ann Hunyor, and Regina Resanovich; along with her 6 siblings. Private graveside services will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
