Vesta M. Combs, 94, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2005, at Heatherdowns Rehabilitation Center. Vesta was born on March 31, 1911, in Couch, Missouri, to Thomas and Dili (Staggs) Frey. She was a former employee for Libbey-Owens-Ford and Autolite. Vesta was a member of Clark Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Vida L. and Dale H. Barton; grandson, Mark A. (Kelly) Barton; great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lindsey, Tyler Barton. Vesta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Combs; daughter, Dorothy Lou Combs; grandson, David Barton and 3 brothers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
