Vicki K. Velliquette, 77, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on May 17, 2022. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 13, 1945 to Vern and Bernice Heck. She graduated from Waite High School in 1963 and shortly after, married her husband Don Velliquette on October 12, 1963. Vicki worked as a floral designer for Bartz-Viviano for over 20 years. She was a creative lady with a lifelong love for antiques. She was well known in the primitive antique community for buying and selling antiques and was also known for her wonderful talent of creating unique primitive pieces. Over the years, Vicki bought and sold antiques at various sales and also had booths at Blissfield Antiques and The Country Cupboard. It was the simplest pleasures that brought Vicki so much joy. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, enjoyed watching Judge Judy, her Datelines and 48 hours, but more than anything else, she cherished her grandchildren Nathan and Carley.
Vicki is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Don; children, Daniel (Lisa) Velliquette, Darlene (Larry) Schimming, Dana (Steve) Agler; grandchildren, Nathan and Carley; and siblings Donna Gallagher and Jim (Judy) Heck, extended family Paul (Karen) Shelnick, as well as many lifelong friends in her antique community. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tom Heck.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m.
