Victor V. Gonzalez, 89, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Victor was born in Mercedes, Texas on October 2, 1923 to Emilio and Belen (Villareal) Gonzalez. On October 6, 1989, he married Barbara Goodwin. He was employed with Gen Corp and Textile Leathers for 34 years, retiring in 1984. For years, he loved dancing at the Luna Pier Ballroom on Saturday nights. Victor is survived his loving wife of 25 years, Barbara; children, Richard Gonzalez, Allison Gonzalez, Vincent (Jessica) Gonzalez, and Victor (Andrea) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Michelle Guzman, Xander, and Violet Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, David, Sarilyn, and Jocelyn Guzman, Destiny and Bradley Wright Jr.; brother, Benjamin Gonzalez, along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Linda Hall; grandson, Bradley Wright; brothers, Robert and Richard Gonzalez; and nephew, Emilo Gonzalez.
