Victoria Susie (Rodriguez) Minton of Dothan, AL and formerly of Oregon, OH ascended to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 14, 2011. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 15, 1935 to John and Ursula (Lupencio) Rodriguez. In 1953 Victoria married John Minton and together they raised 5 children. She loved spending time with her family, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, and her sons, John III and George. Surviving are her loving husband, John; children, Betty (Tom) Green, Nancy (Les) Hayward and John (Sara) Minton; grandchildren, Michael, Tommy, Joshua, Matthew, George, Vicky, Kevin, Andrew, Joshua and Gryphon; great grandchildren, Michael Jr., Tristan, Lilly, Isaac, Lane and Kaleb; brothers, George, Steve and Godfrey. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Tuesday, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
