Viola Mathews, 76, of Northwood, OH, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Millbury, OH, on April 6, 1928, to DeWilton and Katherine (Steadman) Reno. Viola was a homemaker who deeply touched the lives of all who knew her. Because of her unique personality and lovingly honest character she will be missed by all. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Max Mathews; children, James (Karolyn) Mathews, Jacquelyn Posey, Kelly (Jeff) Stewart, Kristine (Hal) Seiple, Jeffrey (Sharon) Mathews; brother, Raymond Reno; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
