Violet M. Betts, 92, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Heartland of Oregon. She was born on June 13, 1914, to Edward and Mary Schuller. Violet was the widow of Nelson Betts, who preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Betts was an avid walker who walked daily at the Woodville Mall and enjoyed having coffee with the gang at McDonalds. She also was a long time member at the 21st Century Spa in the Great Eastern Shopping Center. Surviving is her daughter, Shirley Loofborow; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Violet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Betts and grandson, Ralph Betts. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with interment following in Willow Cemetery.
