Virginia M. Critch, 83 loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend returned home on Saturday, September 4, 2004 after a short illness. Virginia was the daughter of Peter and Clara (Nonnemacher) Mies. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Donald Critch; brothers, Ralph and William Mies; sister, Grace M. Mies. Virginia was a homemaker whose many passions were her children, grandchildren, spending summers at Camp Diclair on Nettles Lake, and attending high school and college sporting events. Virginia was a 1941 graduate of Waite High School. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia (Robert) Meis and Carol (Jon) Herbster; son, Thomas Critch; grandchildren, Kenneth Sendelbach, Sara Sendelbach and Jon Scott Herbster; great grandchildren, Skiler and Briana DeShetler; brother, James (Ruth) Mies and sister, Clara Bolfa. Friends may call in the at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 9 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 and proceed to Good Shepherd Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
