Virginia M. Killian, 89, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2005, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Mrs. Killian was born on August 13, 1915, in Toledo, OH to Charles and Erma (Corder) Smith. She was employed for 20 years with the Walding, Kinnan, Marvin Wholesale Drug Company and was a member of the teamsters. Virginia loved traveling, visiting 48 states including Mexico and Canada. She also spent many winters in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Virginia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Larry Rhoads; grandson, Jamie and Karen Dotson; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Chris; grandson, Timothy Dotson; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Abigayle; sisters, Margaret Schafer, Mary Mockbee, Erma (Bob) Sheehan, Carolyn (Richard) Ward and Judy (Al) Simon; brothers, James (Rose), Earl (Carole), Ronald, William (Jeannette) and Kenneth Smith; many nieces and nephews and special buddy, Elmer Terrell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James "Joe" Terrell and John Killian; sisters, Lois Smith and Ann Sheetz; brothers, Charles and Fredrick Smith and great-grandchildren, Gabriel and James Dotson.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, OH on Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. The family would like to give a special thanks to the St. Vs Palliative Care Unit and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care and support.
