Obituary

Virginia R. Textor, 84, formerly of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2005, in Avon Oaks Nursing Center in Avon, Ohio. Mrs. Textor was born in Sandusky, Ohio on November 18, 1920, to Benjamin and Cora Wunderley. She was the widow of Roy "Bud" Textor who preceded her in death in 1987. Virginia was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Avon and a past member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Toledo. Mrs. Textor was employed as a bookkeeper and cashier for the A&P food stores for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She loved to garden, work jigsaw puzzles and play cards, but her true love was just spending time visiting with family and friends. Surviving are her daughters, Peggy (Ken) George, Carol (Norman) Gault, Karen (Larry) Thompson; sons, Robert (Cindy) and Daniel (Sue) Textor; sisters, Florence Peoples, Jean Linden and Joan Nesteroff; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alice Sullwold and brothers, Richard and James. Friends and family may visit from 2 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave., where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Virginia's memory can be made to either St. Mark Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Home at Toledo. Visitation: Visitation Times Tuesday, 2-9 p.m. Oregon Chapel
