Virginia O. Vargas, 65, passed away on February 8, 2015 at Hospice Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on May 13, 1949 to Robert and Lenore (Ruiz) Torres. Virginia worked for Chrysler Jeep for 27 years before retiring in 2009. She was a member of The Rock Church in Oregon. Virginia loved dancing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her loving husband, Jose; children, Cecelia Ruiz, Sonia ("Rocky") Hinkleman, Jose (Amanda) Vargas; grandchildren, Angelo, Brandon, Marcus, Mario, Stewart, Antonio and Brooklyn Ruiz, Claudell Sutherland, Solomon, Eli, Isaac, Asher, Amira Hinkleman, Joseph Vargas; great-grandchildren, Saron Frazier, Marcus, Darin, Jazaniyah, Lamiyah Stewart, Aminah Ruiz, Torice Jackson, III; siblings, Robert (Lucy), Carlos (Terri), Rudy, Jose, Samuel Sr., Jacob, Daniel Torres, Jessie (Colleen) Ruiz, Emma DeLuca, Maria (Tony) Vallejo, Juana Reyna. Also surviving is her dear friend, Irma Gongora and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Consuelo Ruiz; son, Mario Vargas; sister, Dolores Navarro; nephews, Anthony Torres and Anthony Franco. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
