Vivian Katheren Kuntz of Oregon, Ohio passed away on August 21, 2013, surrounded by loved ones. She was 91. Vivian was born August 26, 1921, in Jerusalem Township, Ohio, to John Nissen and Augusta (Bolander). She married Verne Frank Kuntz on October 11, 1941. Vivian enjoyed crocheting beautiful afghans and baby blankets and lovingly shared them with family and friends. Her true passion was spending time with her family. Whether spending time at the lake or gathered at a simple cook-out, Vivian was happiest surrounded by her family. She made every event a celebration! Vivian is survived by her children: Randy (Jackie) Kuntz of Holland, Ohio, David (Vickie) Kuntz of Oregon, Ohio, and Karen Young of Guerneville, California; six grandchildren, Brad, Kelly, Kurtis, Shayna, Melissa and four great-grandchildren, Fisher, Logan, Jordan and beloved sister June Schober. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Glen (Bud) Nissen. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at noon. Private interment will take place at Willow Cemetery.
