Vivian M. Pitzen 80 yrs., of Northwood, died Wednesday, December 11, 2002 in her residence. She was born in Connellsville, PA on August 1, 1922 to the late Dewey and Gertrude (Krob) Rist. Vivian was a cafeteria worker for the Northwood School Systems for 15 years retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Rossford Eagles #2322 and Northwood VFW # 2984 Ladies Auxiliary. Vivian is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Dana) Dwyer; sister, Marcella (Ed) Hughes; brothers, Lewis (Phyllis) Rist and George (Alyne) Rist; daughter-in-law, Diane Pitzen; grandchildren, Todd (Bristy) and Chad Dwyer, Tammy, Trent and Tiffany Pitzen; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Pitzen and George Don Moore; son, Terry Pitzen and sisters, Laverne Zimmerman and Thelma Pavuk. Visitation will be in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Rd. at Starr Ave. on Saturday, December 14, 2002 from 6-9 pm and Sunday from 2-9 pm where a Rossford Eagles service will be held at 7 pm .. Funeral services will be held Monday in the funeral home at 11am. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
