Wade V. Clemens, 68, of Elmore, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Perrysburg on August 7, 2015. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 11, 1947 to Wade and Dorothy (Thornton) Clemens. He graduated from Woodward High School in 1965, then went on to work for CSX Railroad as a Conductor for 44 years, retiring in 2012. Wade was the Railroad Chairperson Local #1529, Legislative Representative and mentor for new employees. He enjoyed painting, playing that guitar and was known for always being able to put a smile on anyone's face. His most cherished memories were spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter and best friend, Alexandera.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years and soul mate, Joyce; children, Inge (Robbin) Timmer-Hackney, David (Patti) Clemens, Jared Clemens; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Terry Clemens, Judy (Chuck) Bellavia and Mark (Pattie) Clemens.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
