Wanda V. Smith, 84, of Genoa, Ohio, and formerly of East Toledo, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Genoa Care Center. She was born on July 28, 1920, to Robert and Charlotte (Beard) Junk in Newport, Kentucky. Wanda was a founding member of East Toledo Baptist Church where she was very active throughout the years and also taught Sunday School at the church. She is survived by her children, Terrence (Richanna) of Woodville, Sherda (Tim) Warren of Point Place, Theresa (Richard) Carr of Bluffton and Timothy (Judy) of Millbury; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sheridan; 2 sisters and her brother. Visitation will be held Monday, May 16, 2005, from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury. Funeral services will be held at East Toledo Baptist Church on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
