Warren Bertrand Dey, 82, died Monday, February 16, at Wilson Medical Center from complications of congestive
heart failure. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Beatrice (Cherel) Dey in 1980, and an infant son,Richard Glenn Dey, In 1952. His sister, Margaret Alice (Dey) Keating died in 1998.
Mr Dey was born November 27, 1921 in Woodbridge, NJ to Bertrand Harry and Edith Mae (Warren) Dey. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII, and met his wife-to-be while on a tour of duty in France. After the war, the Deys settled first in Toledo and moved to Millbury, OH in 1959, where Warren resided until December, 2003. He was a retired clerk for Conrail and a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Northwood, OH, where he had served as a member of its church council, Maintenance committee, and dartball team.
His sons, the Rev. Keith H Dey of Wilson and Jeffrey L. Dey of Cincinnati, OH, Keith's wife, Brenda (LaChine)
Dey, and grandchildren, Stephanie and Christine Dey survive him. One niece, Loretta Keating lives in New York.
Visitation will be at Eggleston~Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Wooodville Road in
Millbury, OH on Friday, February 20 from 2:00-9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, in
Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Road, Northwood, OH on Saturday, February 21, with the Rev. Paul Reichert officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Stony Ridge, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions are made to Calvary Lutheran Church.
