Warren F. Johnson, 86, of Oregon, OH passed away Thursday, March 10, 2005 in Heartland of Oregon. He was born in Ironville, OH on November 27, 1918 to Christian and Bertha (Lalendorff)Johnson. Warren was a life-long farmer and was employed by the American Ship Building Company. He was a member of German American Swiss Society, enjoyed golfing, ballroom dancing and boating. Surviving are his children, Jeffrey (Sandy Stephens), James (Chris Ruby), and Robert (Patricia Calabrese) Johnson; sister, Marjorie "Mitzi" Staskiewicz; brother, Neil "Mike" (Caroleen); grandchildren, Matthew, Suzanne and Zachary Johnson, Eric, Lindsay and Nicholas Shiple, and special friend, Virginia "Ginny" Hostetter. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Erleen "Suzy" Johnson and brother, Robert Johnson. Friends and Family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Sunday, March 13, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at a later date and interment will be in Historical Woodlawn Cemetery.
