Wayne Richard Balazs, 43, of Toledo, OH passed away October 25, 2005 in his home. He was born in Toledo, OH on July 29, 1962 to Richard and Carol (Boroughf) Balazs. Wayne was employed for 20 years as a truck driver. Wayne enjoyed singing and karoke, reaching the the Indiana state Karoke semi-finals. He was referred to as "Cowboy" for his distinctive antique duster and cowboy hat and "Candy Man" as he passed out candy while performing. He is survived by his mother, Carol Linton; grandmother, Margaret Netry; children, Daniel, Eric, Angela and Kelly Harpel; brothers, Mark Balazs, James Hallauer and Jay Harpel Jr.; sister, Peggy Fausey. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, sister, Shelly Davis and brother, David Hallauer. A memorial service will be conducted in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, October 30, 2005 at 3:00pm.There will be a visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Visitation: Visitation Times Sunday, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Oregon Chapel
