Wayne E. "Buck" Kohn, 84, of Oregon, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025 at his home. He was born October 25, 1940 in Toledo, OH, to Roland and Ruth Kohn.

On November 17, 1997 he married Patricia Killion at the St. Thomas Church; together they shared 30 years. Buck worked as a longshoreman for CSX for 36 years, and loved his job. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His fishing crew, David Hitchen and Jim Firestone will miss Buck helping fill up that cooler with perch! Buck also enjoyed watching football, especially the Michigan Wolverines and Green Bay Packers. He was proud of his 1990 Chevy 454 SS show truck that was featured in "Chevy Truckin'", and won many award shows that he attended with his brother, Tommy. Buck loved life so much, he never let his Parkinsons interfere, until he could not overcome the progression.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Patricia; daughters, Dawn Kohn, Debbie Rozek, Lisa (David) Rarick; son, Randy Killion; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Bob) Baker; and brother, Tommy (Rebecca) Kohn.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.

Per Buck's wishes, he will be cremated and he and his hunting dog, Otis, will be set free for goose season. A Celebration of Life honoring Buck will be held on April 13th at 1:0 p.m. at Ralphie's Sports Eatery, 3005 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH.

Expressions of sympathy in Buck's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
