Wayne T. Wells, 58, of Oregon, passed away Tuesday, November 2nd 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 29, 1952 to Thomas and Zella (Purtee) Wells. On April 10th, 1971 he married Deborah Reeder. Wayne was employed with Conrail and Norfolk Southern Railroads for over 36 years as a train dispatcher. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and golf. His true passion was playing games with his children and grandchildren. A devoted family man, Wayne will be dearly missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Wayne is survived by his wife of 39 years, Debbi; daughters, Melissa (Craig) Henninger and Melinda (Nick Self) Smith; grandchildren, Craig Jr., Zachary, Miranda, and Gavin; mother, Zella Wells; brother, Philip (Sandy) Wells, and sister, Rita Vincent. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, November 6th from 11:00 am until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
