Wayne J. Zaerr, 79, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away after suffering a heart attack while driving on Tuesday, August 8, 2006. Wayne was born in Archbold, Ohio, on December 13, 1926, to William Raymond and Inez (Short) Zaerr. Prior to retiring from Sauder's Woodworking in Archbold, Wayne was a farmer in the Archbold area. He currently worked part time for ABC Detroit-Toledo Car Auction. He was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church. In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed Polka dancing with his wife and playing cards. His real love was spending time with his wife, family and taking his grandchildren to the Cleveland Brown's football games. Surviving are his loving wife, Susan Miller Zaerr; daughters, Lucinda (Darrel) Garmenn, Linda Roth, LuAnn (Michael) Armstrong; step- children, Christine Skadeland, Richard (Patricia) Miller, Nancy (Tim) Achter, Robin (Terry) Potter, Tammy Miller; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, on Friday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Road, Northwood, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Scotch Ridge Cemetery, Webster Twp.
