After a valiant 5 year battle with brain cancer, our superhero, Wesley L. Bylow, 67, of Millbury, OH, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on January 27, 1943 in Toledo, OH to Wesley and Dorothy (Stoner) Bylow and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Wesley was employed with Toledo Edison 36 years and retired as a line supervisor in 2001. Wesley was a dedicated husband and father not only to his children but his step children as well. His boundless love touched so many lives. He was an avid fisherman and Ohio State Buckeye fan, Wesley also was totally involved with the CRHP Group at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Walbridge, OH. He was known as a problem solver not only at work but home as well. Surviving are his loving wife of 14 years, Linda; sons, Scott (Shannon Schmidlin) and Brad Bylow; daughters, Kari Kosmo, Laurie (Dan) Babb and Wendy Johnstone; sisters, Phyllis (Earl) Salisbury and Bonnie (John) Kuch; granddaughters, Brittany, Heather and Danielle; grandsons, James, Joshua and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jasmine; mother-in-law, Vivian "Momasita" Risenburg and former daughter-in-law, Dolly Keyes; sisters-in-law, Sue Kreger, Marilyn (Dave) Parker and Carolyn Loch. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Janet; daughter, Lori and brother-in-law, James Loch. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio, on Monday from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. with a prayer service conducted at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted in St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St., Walbridge, OH, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. where the family will greet visitors after 10 a.m. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Wesley's name are asked to consider Millbury Fire Department Inc. Relief Fund or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
