Willah Alice Deem, 96, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2003 at St. Charles-Mercy Hospital. Willah was born on June 12, 1907, in Gibsonburg, Ohio to George and Bertha (Felhaber) Davis. She married John W. Deem who preceded her in death. Willah was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Woodville Rd., and once was very active with the women groups at the church. At one time Willah was also very active at the Day Senior Center, planning many of their trips.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, George and Diane Deem; grandchildren, John (Susan) Deem, Todd Deem, Tamara Deem; great-grandchildren, Leslie, Mary, Helania Deem; sister-in-law, Clara Davis. Her brothers, Dale, Glenn, and Clair Davis preceded her in death.
Family and friends may call at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. and where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
